Who’s this guy?

Let’s just call me Coach Dad. I’ve been around the game for about 45 years and I have learned that community and culture are essential to our players’ success.

I coach. I have run a program. I have organized. I have cofounded a league and a youth organization. I am also the parent of a player. I am passionate about player development and strongly believe we can all learn from each other’s perspectives.

Through these experiences, I have learned that one of the largest obstacles in developing young hockey players is the communication between parents, coaches and organizations themselves.

Sometimes it’s hard to know when and how to speak up and I hope this website and podcast can develop a conversation to help bring synergy (yeah, I went there, haha) between these parties.

What’s the deal?

Stupid-questions.com is working to start conversations between the parties that develop our youth hockey players.

Parents: if you’ve ever wanted to ask your coach or organization a question but were afraid you would sound stupid, here’s a place to do it. Anonymously, if you desire.

Coaches: here’s a place where you can give the answer you always wanted to or at least let parents know what’s driving you nuts or holding your team / players back.

Organizations: you out there?
